Music Reflection #19

Todaaaaayyy..
We have another singing assessment.

Okay, so practically we're supposed to choose between La Bamba or What a Wonderful World. At first, I didn't know. I was completely clueless. I liked both songs and I can sing both. Then I thought, I'm gonna sing La Bamba because it's more dynamic and upbeat. But then I listened to the minus-one, and turns out I didn't like it at all. So I decided to sing What a Wonderful World.

I went last. And I was practically shaking throughout the whole song but I tried not to show it. And okay, I think I did pretty well. Others also did great. One performance that I really liked was Jennifer's. She also sang What a Wonderful World. She and I sang without partners, while others did. It was scary. But the after feeling is fantastic. A mixture of adrenaline, fear, and satisfaction.

And hip hip hooraaayy! I managed to pull myself together and paid attention to every single performance today. I can recall which I thought was really good, and my friends that can do better. My weakness was I was so scared that my voice was shaking when I sang. Overall, I think I did okay.

Next session, I will keep up my effort and still pay attention in class.
